Cinema Book Club - Light House Cinema
One thing to know about me as a person and as an artist is that I love, love, love cinema and my favourite cinema is the Light House Cinema in Dublin, Ireland. It’s my second home, I practically live there and I love when i get to do projects for them.
Host by Charlene Lydon and Chelsea Morgan, Cinema Book Club is a book club with a difference. Read the book, watch the film adaptation and then discuss the two after with a glass of wine. Now in its seventh year they have screenings every month in the Light House Cinema, Dublin and Pálás their Galway sister cinema.
For the refresh I was asked to incorporate the hosts into the design as time and time again it came up that no one really knew who hosted the book club. Taking inspiration from my Mulholland Drive print, we decided on an Archie Comics inspired design that would bring all the elements of the book club together including Charlene's cat eye glasses and penchant for retro dresses, Chelsea's love of chunky jewellery and the Light House's iconic rainbow seats.
