- To celebrate the publication of 800th issue, Hot Press in cooperation with ABSOLUT announced a contest for designers dubbed ‘CREATE//COLLABORATE’. All creative minds were welcome to design a cover for Hot Press using any tools they have at hand and in mind including Photoshop, photographs, hand-drawn illustrations and so on.
My entry was of Conor O'Brien of Villagers and I used a play on images for my theme using his debut album "Becoming the Jackal" as inspiration. It was shortlisted for the final round of the competition.
